J/70 J/Club winter training 2016-2017
This winter there will be new training sessions for either Eredivisie, Bundesliga or one design teams of the J/70. The Keelboat Academy is organising this in conjuction with J/Club. Trainers are Ben Koppelaar, Annemieke Bes and Koen van Esch.
10 Days of training are scheduled, split in 2 types of training:
Type 1: race days where we will focus on boat-to-boat situations and tactics (you will be sailing complete races including a ranking) and
Type 2: training days with a top trainer. Ideal to prepare your team for the Eredivisie Zeilen and Segel Bundesliga but also for the teams starting the J/70 one design.

Entry fee per team:
Training days: €85,- per day
Race days: €40,- per day
This includes the coffee in the morning
Single entry: €240,- per day
All training days: €220,- per day
All race days: €220,- per day
Whole series: €200,- per day
Fee for letting your private/club owned boat at the harbour for the whole period: €360,- until April 1st. Fee includes craning the boat on the training and race days
J/Club is the foundation that has bought the fleet for the Dutch Sailing League and supporting this series to make it accessible to sail a one design race boat without having to own one. Waterland Monnickendam, J/Boats Benelux and Henri Lloyd Nederland are the faces behind the foundation.

You register as a team. If you’d like to join individually, please send an email to JClub@keelboatacademy.com and we will keep you updated if there are options to join too.
Entries for the whole series have priority on entries for half of the series and those have priority over single entries.
An initial damage deposit of €1000 shall be paid at registration (for charter boats). This deposit is the maximum payable by the skipper as a result of any one incident. Competitors will sign a sailing agreement prior to sailing.
For training days there is a maximum of 8 teams. If there are 7 more teams interested we can hire a second trainer.
The organisation has the authority to find a substitute trainer if necessary. This is never ground for a refund.
By completing this form, you’re confirming your entry and you agree to the payment obligations. A refund of the entry fee is only possible for the single entries, until 4 weeks prior to the event. Closer to the event, a refund is only possible when a substitute team is available.
There is one reserve day scheduled, the 18th of february. If a day has to be canceled already on Friday the organisation ames to re-schedule to that same Sunday, but this can’t be guaranteed as it depends on the availability of the crew and the weather. Cancelations due to weather conditions is no ground for a refund or substitute charter day.
By participating in this event competitors automatically grant to the organisation and their sponsors the right in perpetuity to make, use and show, from time to time at their discretion, any stil land motion pictures and live, taped or filmed television and other reproductions of the athletes without compensation.
